Badly vented roof

We are finding that a lot of new roofs are not being vented correctly. Unfortunately, the roofers are unaware of the new building regulations to do with venting and are not adding vented ridge tiles. The problem also seems to extend to the roofing suppliers supplying dry roof venting systems that are incorrectly sold. I called and went into several roofing suppliers and asked for dry fix centre ridge systems and was sold un-vented systems that have the wording Universal on them. Universal is referring to its use as a ridge or hip system, not if it's vented or not.
